News Headlines - High Wycombe

New signings at High Wycombe
5/9/2008 - WYCOMBE think they have ironed out the crease that ran through their season last year and the arrival of top-order trio Matthew Eyles, David Cranfield-Thompson and Leo Taylor should drive their batting concerns to the boundary.

High Wycombe look to be champions
8/21/2005 - With Reading doing High Wycombe a huge favour in beating second place Slough, it now looks as though the trophy will be going to High Wycombe as they are now more than 50 points ahead with only two games remaining. Tring Park have an unassailable lead in 2 West whilst in 2 East it looks as though West Herts will triumph, as expected.

Mark puts Warriors on the Wright track
5/12/2005 - MARK Wright inspired Warriors as they thrashed league champions Henley by eight wickets. Wright top-scored, making 85 off just 80 balls.

High Wycombe raise £2000 for charities in pre-season training
5/17/2004 - As part of their pre-season training High Wycombe Cricket Club players were set a task by their Chairman, Richard Morgan to join him in raising funds for charitable causes. Effectively, they aimed to complete the equivalent of the equivalent of running from London to Dover, rowing from Dover to Calais, cycling from Calais to Paris and climbing the Eiffel Tower.
