Harrison hails Oxford depth
5/7/2009 - Oxford captain Jason Harrison says they have a stronger squad as they bid to regain the Serious Cricket Home Counties Premier League Division 1 title they won in 2007. Despite losing Adam Cook and Pat Jobson, Oxford have made five signings. Opening batsman Chris Sandbach and wicket-keeper/ batsman Jamie Perkin have joined from Oxford Downs. Oxford have also snapped up all-rounder David Smith and seamer Graeme Cessford. Former Leicestershire-contracted batsman Nick Ferraby, who Harrison expects to be one of the league’s leading players, completes the quintet.

Weather halts Oxford bid for title
9/6/2008 - The weather finally halted the match and left Oxford to settle for 4th place whereas a win would have given them the points to have retained their title.
