News Headlines - St.Albans

The down and outs
8/28/2004 - St Albans remained rooted to the bottom of the Division Two East and are now faced with relegation after a defeat against top of the table North Mymms at home.

St Albans fall out
8/21/2004 - In difficult conditions, St Albans were unable to set a total sufficient to offer their bowlers a chance of success. St Albans fought hard in the field but defending a total of 72 was always going to be a challenge.

Edwards rues missed chances
8/14/2004 - St Albans failed to support their excellent bowling as eight good catching chances go to ground. As a result, the Welwyn Garden City total proves beyond their reach and they have to settle for a draw.

St Albans hang on
8/7/2004 - St Albans just about managed to hang on for the draw at Hemel Hempstead but the result leaves them still rooted to the bottom of Division Two (East).

Record-breaking Stevenage make Hoddesdon sweat
8/7/2004 - Stevenage chalked up the highest score ever in the history of the HCPCL. Their 371-5 beat the previous best of 356-3 set by St Margaretsbury in 2003, also against Hoddesdon.
