News Headlines - Bishop's Stortford

Stortford take honours in low-scoring derby
6/20/2009 - Bishop's Stortford's game with local rivals Sawbridgeworth, played at Cricketfield Lane, turned out to be a low-scoring affair. As with most low scoring games, the result could have gone either way, but eventually Stortford ran out winners by four wickets.

Visa problems delay Whittingham for Stortford
5/7/2009 - KEY Aussie all-rounder Darren Whittingham will miss the start of Bishop’s Stortford’s season due to problems getting a visa to this country. Whittingham, who will miss the opening match of the season at Hemel Hempstead, hopes to arrive in this country next Tuesday – if he is granted a working visa.
